As the world celebrates a summer of football, tennis and athletics, Meadows Ryan Solicitors are introducing their Sports Law service.
The firm, which has offices in Weybridge and Central London, already works with several Premier League players, international rugby stars and sports clubs but it is hoping to expand its network of clients through its new specialist department.
The full-service law firm will offer a holistic service to athletes and sports professionals that offers support with sponsorship agreements, transfer contracts and deals, as well as caring for clients’ personal lives, including advice on property, family law and estate planning.
The firm can also assist with regulations, employment, dispute resolution, disciplinary matters and governance, as well as other areas such as brand protection, reputation management and tax.
While they already benefit from their Weybridge office being located near to Harlequin Rugby Club and Chelsea F.C. training grounds, Meadows Ryan is setting its sights further afield with plans to attract new clients from across England.
The new multi-disciplinary Sports Team is led by some of
the firm’s most experienced solicitors including Jodie Care (Employment Law), James Baker (Private Client), John Quibell (Commercial and Corporate), Christian Abletshauser (Family Law) and Piers Meadows, the firm’s Managing Partner and residential and commercial property solicitor.

As well as working with individual athletes, Meadows Ryan also act for sports clubs, giving close support to the clubs and their members on a wide variety of matters.
