Child arrangements – The rights of grandparents
Piers Meadows, Evie Walmsley & Francesca Rye Blakey have delivered an interactive session with the Year 8 boys at Parkside School this month.
Together they combined a presentation, with a fun workshop, to introduce the pupils to life as a lawyer.
We discussed the laws they’re familiar with, how those laws impact everyday life and what lawyers actually do, including the different areas of practice.
Students paired up to negotiate their own football player transfer deals, acting as either the football club or the player, working through key terms such as contract length, transfer fee, and weekly wage.
Well done to the pupils for their enthusiasm, engagement and passion and thank you to Parkside School for having us!
