Stephen started out as a foreign exchange trader working at various investment banks in the City. He qualified as a solicitor in 2000 having gained experience in residential property and is now a specialist Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor with over 20 years’ experience.
Stephen has dealt with all manner of residential property transactions from first time buyers to high net worth individuals including the acquisition of a residential property for £26m. He also deals with transfers of equity, remortgages, new leases, lease extensions and licences and auction sales and purchases. Stephen also has extensive experience in commercial property dealing the sale and purchase of leasehold and freehold commercial properties and small businesses (where the main asset is the property), general landlord and tenant matters including licences and leases and development matters including conditional contracts, options and overage agreements. His clients range from new clients taking their first business lease or buying their first house to significant property investors. He has most recently dealt with the refinancing of a property portfolio worth over £100m.
