Priti is a partner and jointly heads up the Firm’s Family Department. Priti specialises in all aspects of divorce and relationship breakdown including financial arrangements, cohabitation agreements and cohabitee disputes, issues relating to children (where they live, who they spend time with and other specific matters including international relocation), dissolution of civil partnerships and LBGTQ family matters.
Priti is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has over 30 years’ experience.
Priti is experienced in dealing with high-net worth financial remedy cases, including where there are family businesses, third party interests, hidden and overseas assets.
Priti is also experienced in complicated children’s cases with issues of welfare concerns, domestic violence, and international elements, including relocation, child abduction and removal from the jurisdiction.
She is known for being accessible, approachable and responsive. Priti has a no-nonsense approach to cases, providing clear, pragmatic and robust advice. Always endeavouring to find the best solution for her clients, and a creative solution, with a minimum of fuss and acrimony, recognising also that, whilst a relationship may be coming to an end, the family will continue where there are children, with all parties having to be able to effectively co-operate and co-parent after the relationship breakdown.
