Charles qualified as a solicitor in January 1998 and joined the firm as a consultant in September 2019. He was formerly a partner with 2 substantial London firms. He has wide experience of civil and commercial dispute resolution including commercial and residential landlord and tenant; forfeiture; adverse possession; boundary disputes and nuisance claims.
Charles’ commercial experience includes breach of warranty; breach of confidence; unfair prejudice; debt and insolvency. He has acted for clients in negligence claims against solicitors and architects. He has dealt with many international matters, including the enforcement of foreign judgments in the UK and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He adopts a commercial approach to problems and is skilled in the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Charles has a wide range of sporting interests and is a keen tennis player and horse rider.
